One of the great things about this series - which I think is probably down to the excellent job Daphne Carr has done - is how well it’s kept abreast of the span of web writing: lots of tumblr posts, discussions, blogs, LJ even! in this list, as well as print and established web media. It works as a sampling of smart conversation as well as good standalone writing.

(Of course I doubt there will be many new readers coming along and saying YES i want to start a MUSIC WRITING TUMBLR but you never know…)
