Australia’s very own pop powerhouse, Sia Fuller, is back and stronger than ever. Her new single ‘Chandelier’, which was released to retailers back on March 17th, 2014, was co-written by Sia with Jesse Shatkin and produced by Greg Kurstin, finally has an official video!
The visual for ‘Chandelier’ was co-directed by Sia and Daniel Askill (Phoenix, Sia’s ‘Breathe Me’) and stars Maddie Ziegler (Dance Moms) performing a quite stunning interpretive dance for the already powerful and moving song at the old Herald Examiner building in downtown LA. ‘Chandelier’ is without a doubt a grower - as it’s not your typical pop single (but that’s probably what Sia intended isn’t it!). After a long stint of providing hits for other artists (i.e Rihanna and Britney to name a few), Sia clearly saved this one for her own personal use realizing no one else could do the song justice. I mean really, could you picture Katy Perry or someone else trying to belt this one out…yeah I didn’t think so.
Chandelier’ serves as the lead single off Sia’s upcoming sixth studio album 100 Forms of Fear, which is due out this summer via RCA Records.
You can purchase Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ on iTunes NOW!
